Our Respite Care here at Assumption Hospice, Inc. is provided to a hospice patient in a Licensed skilled nursing facility on a short-term basis for situations in which the family needs temporary relief from caring for a loved one. Respite care for periods of up to five (5) days is covered by hospice under the Medicare Hospice Benefit. We act on behalf of the family, with their best interest in mind, providing them with the assurance that their loved ones are receiving the best care possible.
